THE KRIPT – Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with THE KRIPT. We want your experience to be as smooth as possible. This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on www.thekriptstore.com and any related subdomains.

1. Standard Return Window

You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

Returns submitted after the 14-day window will not be accepted.

2. Free Returns With Checkout+ (USA & Canada Only)

THE KRIPT offers Checkout+ at checkout for customers in the USA and Canada.

  • If you select Checkout+, you will receive a free prepaid return label through our portal.
  • If you opt out of Checkout+, you are responsible for purchasing your own return label. You may purchase it directly through our customer return portal.

Note: Shipping costs and package protection fees are non-refundable.

3. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, all items must be:

  • In the same condition as received
  • Unworn, unused, and free of stains, odors, or damage
  • With all original tags attached
  • In their original packaging

Items failing to meet these conditions will not be accepted and may be returned to the customer at their expense.

4. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Visit our Returns Portal.
  2. Enter your order number and the email, phone number, or shipping ZIP code used at checkout.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your return request.

Important: Items sent back without first submitting a return request will not be accepted.

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • USA & Canada – Checkout+ Selected: Return label is free.
  • USA & Canada – Checkout+ Not Selected: The cost of the return label will be deducted from your refund.
  • International (outside USA/Canada): Customers must purchase their own return label.

6. International Returns (Outside USA & Canada)

International customers must initiate their return through the portal, but labels are not provided by THE KRIPT.

Important: When purchasing a return label, please select:

“Returned Goods / Returned Merchandise”

This ensures your package clears customs correctly.

9. Damages, Defects & Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us immediately at customercare@thekriptstore.com. Provide photos and your order number so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

10. Exceptions – Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Swimwear and underwear
  • Items marked FINAL SALE
  • Gift cards
  • Package protection products (e.g., Route Insurance)

Contact us if you have questions about a specific item’s eligibility.

11. Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges. To receive a different item, please:

  1. Return your original item.
  2. Place a new order for the item you want.

12. European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to a country within the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason, in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection laws.

Items must meet standard eligibility requirements:

  • Unworn and unused
  • With all original tags
  • In original packaging

This right may not apply to:

  • Final sale items clearly marked as such
  • Hygiene-sensitive items (e.g., underwear, some swimwear) where the hygiene seal has been broken or removed
  • Items that have been visibly worn or used beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning

Refunds for EU customers will be issued once we receive and inspect the returned goods, in accordance with applicable law.

13. United Kingdom – Consumer Rights

This section applies to customers whose orders are delivered to the United Kingdom.

13.1 Statutory Right to Cancel (Distance Contracts)

If you are a UK consumer, you have a legal right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days without giving any reason. This cancellation period normally runs from:

  • The day after you (or a person you nominate) receives the goods; or
  • If items in your order are delivered separately, the day after you receive the last item.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision within the 14-day period by a clear statement (for example, by email). You can contact us at customercare@thekriptstore.com. You are not required to use any specific form, but your message must clearly state that you wish to cancel the contract and include your order details.

Once you notify us of your cancellation, you must send the goods back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date you informed us of your decision to cancel.

13.2 Refunds for UK Statutory Cancellations

When you validly cancel a UK order under your statutory rights:

  • We will refund the price you paid for the goods, including standard delivery costs (if any), in accordance with UK law.
  • We may make a deduction from the refund if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of your handling them more than necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
  • We will process your refund without undue delay and, in any event, not later than 14 days from the earlier of:
    • The day we receive the returned goods; or
    • The day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods.

Unless we expressly agree otherwise, we will make the refund using the same payment method you used for the original transaction.

13.3 Return Costs for UK Customers

Unless we have agreed to provide a free return label under a specific promotion or policy, you are responsible for the cost of returning goods when exercising your statutory right to cancel.

13.4 Items Excluded from UK Cancellation Rights

Your statutory right to cancel does not apply to certain items, including but not limited to:

  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized;
  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery (for example, some underwear or swimwear), where applicable;
  • Goods that are inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.

These exclusions apply in addition to our general non-returnable items listed in Section 10 of this policy, to the extent permitted by UK law.

13.5 Your UK Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy affects any legal rights you may have under UK consumer law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If there is any conflict between this policy and your statutory rights under UK law, your statutory rights will prevail.

14. Refund Processing

Once your return is delivered to our warehouse, please allow time for inspection.

After approval, refunds will be processed based on the option you selected during your return request:

  • Free Returns (Checkout+) – Full refund to original payment method.
  • Paid Returns – Return shipping fee is deducted from your refund total.

Non-refundable costs:

  • Outbound shipping fees
  • Return shipping label fees (unless using Checkout+ or required by law)
  • Package protection fees
  • Duties, tariffs & import taxes paid at checkout (unless refund is required by local law)

Once your refund is issued, you will receive a confirmation email.
